What are PCA Services?

Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) provide essential services to help individuals maintain independence while receiving support tailored to their needs. These PCA services include:

  • Personal Care Assistance:
    • Bathing or grooming
    • Dressing and undressing
    • Mobility support, including transfers, walking, or using equipment
    • Medication management
    • Range of motion exercises (passive assistance)
    • Eating assistance, including tube feeding and dietary needs
    • Toileting support for bowel and bladder care
