For instance, WMEC provides assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. They also offer additional services like access to adaptive equipment, behavioral health counseling, case management, home-delivered meals, personal emergency response systems (PERS), and transportation. 3. What qualifications do the workers have?
   Ensuring that the caregivers are well-qualified is essential. Companions, homemakers, and personal care workers with WMEC’s contracted providers have specialized training in caregiving, undergo background checks, and receive specific training in supporting individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. 4. How are the in-home workers selected and trained?
